Barbatana Productions ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://barbatana.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you submit our contact form we collect:

  • The inquiry type and any occasion or project details you provide
  • The contents of your message
  • Your IP address and browser user-agent (for security and abuse prevention)
  • The date and time of your submission

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The site uses a single session cookie (HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax) strictly for CSRF protection and bot-detection on the contact form.

2. How we use it

We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry, deliver any service you commission, and keep records required for legitimate business purposes. We do not sell or rent personal information.

3. Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties except where required by law, or with service providers we use to operate the site (currently: our email host, Hostinger). All such providers are bound by their own privacy policies and confidentiality obligations.

4. Retention

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain accurate business records, typically no longer than 36 months from your last contact, unless a longer period is required by law.

5. Your rights

You may request that we provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@barbatana.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Security

The site uses HTTPS site-wide, CSRF tokens, prepared SQL statements, and bot-detection measures on every form. We never store payment information on this site.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
